Throughout my journey making games for the game projects class, ive delved into the wordy realm of twine, done a mix of dialogue and 2d for my puzzle game and focused mainly on ui for my sound based game. With that in mind, I've decided that it was high time I made a 3d game for a change.
This time, I've decided to make a planet jumping, gravity switching parkour game. The main gameplay loop consists of three components– the gravity switching main camera, a random object spawner to spawn obstacles on the planet's surface, and a the damaging obstacle component
So far, I've finished making the gravity switching camera component and object spawner component – thanks to youtube tutorials.
Next, I will create the respawn mechanics and see where that takes me!
